Nova and Chevy II rear leaf spring bushings for multi-leaf - will not fit mono leaf-Part # 104sh
Global West Suspension offers a multi leaf spring bushing kit for 1962, 1963, 1964, 1965, 1966, and 1967 Nova and Chevy II models. The kit 104sh features Del-a-lum bushings for the front spring eye, rear spring eye, and frame. Shackles are also included. In addition to the bushings are front plates and hardware for completing the installation. The plates require some welding for installation. The reason for the plates is to make the forward leaf spring mounting box square. Global West Del-a-lum bushings require a flat surface for the thrust washers to work properly. The stock Nova,Chevy II spring mount has concave surfaces. Once the conversion to a square box is done other bushings can be used as well.
Converting over to a multi leaf spring will also require a bolt conversion kit mounting the differential to the leaf spring. Kit 1036 or kit 1031 is required. Kit 1036 has dowels as spacers and 1031 has machined aluminum plates for spacers. Both get the job done. The 1031 aluminum plates look better. You can find these items on the side of the page.
The correct spring to use with this kit is Part# L-9.
The bushing kit will not fit mono leaf springs.
