Global West Suspension sells Track-Pro Drag Race Kits for the 1967, 1968 and 1969 Firebird.
Note: Alignment will have to be done after installation. Global West has alignment specifications provided in the instructions.
Designed for drag racing and limited mileage pro street cars, Global West supplies tubular upper and lower control arms with low friction bushings and improved front suspension geometry.
The Global West Advantage:
- The bushing design used in these arms are machined so there is no drag to the suspension. The bushings can be lubricated by a grease fitting and are do not deflect under heavy loading. Caster is also built into the upper control arm to provide stability at high speed. Six degree to be precise.
- The lower control arms are designed to replace the stock arm using standard coil springs. There is a coilover control arm available also. When installation is complete and the bolts are tight our drag version upper and lower control arms will fall to the ground. Yet, there is still no deflection fore or aft. This is a great improvement over stock or polyurethane bushings.
Note: A trick when aligning a drag car is to lift the front end up 3/4 inch when setting the alignment.
