Global West designed up a conical wound spring that installs in the factory spring perch and tapers down to a 2.5 inch adjusting nut on a QA1 threaded shock body. The coilover kit can fit on top of the stock lower control arm but Global West recommends using the tubular lower control arm that is stronger than stock. The material supporting the shock on Global West arm is increased just to handle coilover applications.
