Global West designed up a conical wound spring that installs in the factory spring perch and tapers down to a 2.5 inch adjusting nut on a QA1 threaded shock body. The spring is linear (not variable) that is slightly stiffer than stock and is capable of supporting a big block.

This kit is a great option for anyone looking for a suspension upgrade for their street car. With 18 valving options of simultaneous compression and rebound adjustment, the Global West #GWS-5864QB Single Adjustable Coil-Over kit allows for that soft comfortable ride you want when cruising to and from the car shows and allows for firm handling you would expect from a modern sports car. The coilover kit can fit on top of the stock lower control arm but Global West recommends using the tubular lower control arm that is stronger than stock. The material supporting the shock on Global West arm is increased just to handle coilover applications.
