Global West offers the biggest front sway bar you can install on a 1958, 1959, 1960, 1961, 1962, 1963, 1964 Impala in the stock location without running into major installation problems. The sway bar kit comes with bushings, end links and hardware. The factory sway bar is relatively small for the Impala, so adding this sway bar will be noticed. The sway bar will reduce some of the excessive body roll the car has going around turns. To improve the handling and oscillations the car has over bumps, Global West recommends also adding a set of front springs. Global West has front springs for big block and small blocks that have a specific spring rate different from the factory. The new spring rate dramatically reduces body roll and eliminates the unsettling affects of the car going over bumps. The springs will lower the car approximately one inch.
