Control Arms, Sway Bars, Bushings
1958, 1959, 1960, 1961, 1962, 1963, 1964 Impala, El Camino front 1-1/4 tubular sway bar Part # SB5864G
Global West Suspension offers a 1-1/4 front tubular sway bar for the Impala and El Camino (1958, 1959, 1960, 1961, 1962, 1963, and 1964). The sway bar does not mount in the standard location. Global West moves the sway bar forward of the steering box. The reason for the move is that the factory location will only allow a 1 inch diameter sway bar to fit. Anything bigger will interfere with the steering box.
The sway bar is supplied with sway bar to frame bushings, brackets, end links, and hardware installation.
This bar is also used with Global Wests power steering box upgrade/conversion
Part # ST-5864G that also fixes the bump steer problem.
