1969-1970 Impala, Biscayne, Caprice, Bel Air Rear Upper Adjustable Tubular Control Arm w/ Spherical Bearing & Rubber Bushing # TBC-53
Control Arms, Sway Bar, Bushings 1969-1970 Impala, Biscayne, Caprice, Bel Air Rear Upper Adjustable Tubular Control Arm w/ Spherical Bearing & Rubber Bushing # TBC-53
Global West Suspension sells adjustable rear upper tubular control arms (with a spherical bearing and rubber bushing) for the 1969 and 1970 Impala, Biscayne, Caprice, and Bel Air.
Our rear adjustable control arm makes setting pinion angle easy. The control arm is designed with right and left-hand threads on the adjuster so the arm does not have to be removed in order to adjust the length. Jam nuts secure the position after adjustment. An adjustable upper arm is required if you are installing a nine inch Ford rear end.
A high-misalignment spherical bearing is located on the frame side allowing the rear end to have proper movement. The rear end upper mount for street and handling applications should use rubber bushings. This is because of the lateral movement caused by the panhard rod.
Note: If you use polyurethane bushings on the rear end upper mounts, the rear end will go into bind at the outer limits of travel. Rubber will allow for any additional movement required
