Here at Global West we offer several different name brand shocks starting with Affco, Koni, Qa-1, Viking and Penske. When you order a coilover kit from us especially front end coilovers, the standard kit will come with the following
  • 2 - coilover shocks - Double or single depending on your order
  • 2 - coilover springs - Spring rates based off of your order
  • 2 - thrust bearing kits - The thrust bearing goes between the ride height adjusting collar and the coil spring. It reduces the drag (resistance) between the two so raising or lowering your ride height is easier.
  • 1 - small spanner wrench - Used for tightening the jam nut against the shock collar.
  • 1 - large spanner wrench - Used for adjusting the ride height on the shock adjusting collar.
  • hardware.
We feel that the extra components supplied in your kit such as the thrust bearing kit and spanner wrenches are required in order to complete your installation with ease. **Global West Suspensions does not recommend using OEM lower control arms because they are not designed for coilover applications. We highly recommend using our control arm or a control arm that is designed for the for coilover shock. Our lower control arms are designed and reinforced specifically to handle the load of a coilover.**
