Description
For all 1959, 1960, 1961, 1962, 1963, and 1964 Impala owners who have a three-link rear suspension, you can purchase this bracket kit and add on another upper trailing arm like the 409 cars had.
The kit comes with just the brackets but you can also order it with the additional upper control arm kit VTC-96. Welding is required for installing the bracket on the differential. The frame bracket requires drilling the frame mounting holes.
Assembly Instructions are included on how to install the kit. Adding an additional upper arm reduces the tendency of pulling the single upper arm off the frame. The higher horsepower engines and better tires make adding another upper arm for strength to the frame a necessity. Global West also offers frame supports, TS-84L and TS-84R for added strength. The TS-84R & L frame supports will require welding.
Note: This kit will not work with GM 10 and 12 bolt rear ends with removable covers.
