1964, 1965, 1966, Mustang Monte Carlo Bar (Straight Bar) # TS-6
Global West Suspension sells Monte Carlo Bars (Straight) for the 1964, 1965, and 1966 Mustang. All of our Monte Carlo bars feature right and left-hand rod ends with jam-nuts. The length is adjusted by threading the rod ends in or out. Once the brackets are attached to the fenders, they will not need to be removed again for bar removal.
What is a Monte Carlo Bar?
The primary function of a Monte Carlo bar is to keep the shock towers from deflecting in towards the engine when increased loads are induced.
This condition can occur from road racing, drag racing and aggressive street driving. However, you do not have to be racing in order to have a shock tower problem; the age of the vehicle also plays a role.
In fact we have found that the shock tower location varies substantially. That is why we build adjustable Monte Carlo bars. Non-adjustable bars may or may not fit on the tower discrepancy.
