Global West offers the biggest front sway bar you can install on a 1971, 1972, 1973, 1974, 1975, an 1976 Impala in the stock location without running into major installation problems. The sway bar kit comes with bushings, end links and hardware. The factory sway bar is relatively small for the Impala, so adding this sway bar will be noticed. The sway bar will reduce some of the  body roll as the car goes around turns. This will improve handling but to really help the body roll.
