
Performance handling kits with a
Disc Brake conversion:
(Note: Tubular upper control arms will only work with tall GM spindles--
If you are using stock spindles, then our G-Plus control arms are what you
should use).
The following tubular control arms listed on this page will only fit a tall GM spindle
measuring 8-15/16-inches tall across the ball joint bosses. This spindle is required in conjunction with our Negative Roll upper
arm in order to generate negative camber gain during cornering. The
geometry change keeps the
tire contact patch flatter on the pavement. The result is greater
cornering ability and longer tire life. There are
three things you must know:
- This
spindle will not work with stock upper control arms.
- Your stock lower control arm can be used or you can purchase our
tubular lower CTA-88L.
- Global West Negative Roll arms
will not work with your stock spindle that measures 7 inches tall.

We offer 3 different control arm kits:
The first two are strictly for non-turbo vehicles.
Part # CNR-88A (shown to the right) consists of the following:
- Billet cross shafts
- Del-a-lum bushings (lifetime warranty) and grease fittings.
- Upper ball joints
- Billet ball joint covers
- Arm is powder coated black
- Shipped assembled
CNR-88A Costs $598.74 pr Part # CNR-88AP is identical to the CNR-88A except instead of
Del-a-lum bushings, we are using polyurethane.
CNR-88AP Costs $552.87 pr The combination of the tall spindle and upper control arm change the geometry
in such a way, that corning ability is dramatically improved. Special note:
Both of the two kits listed above will not work on a
Turbo vehicle.
Cars equipped with a turbo must use
CNR-88B.
Heat produced by the turbo system
cooks the bushings on the passenger side causing failure. We build a special upper control
arm which uses a
brass bushing instead of rubber, polyurethane, or Del-A-lum bushings. The upper arm
assembly allows
the bushings to be lubricated via a grease fitting. Lubrication will provide long service.
This bushing will not cause a harsh ride.
CNR-88B is supplied assembled as shown in the picture. The other control arm
on the driver side is shipped with Del-a-lum bushings. (see CNR-88A photo).

arms:
- No frame modifications.
- Will not interfere with exhaust or steering column
- Uses normal alignment shim pack
- Has additional caster built into the upper arms.
- CNC machined components.
- Ball joint angles are corrected to accommodate new
geometry.
- Round tube design provides superior strength.
- Load carrier upper ball joints offering increased strength over
original stock 4 bolt.
- Allows for 11- inch, 12-inch, 13-inch, or CAT5 disc brake upgrades .
- Stock spring maybe used if desired.
- Black powder coat finish
- Cross bars provide additional strength during brake and cornering loads.
- Positive bump stop eliminate possible over travel of ball joints.
- Control arm are shipped pre-assembled with DEL-A-LUM
Bushings or polyurethane.
